Morgan Wallen was arrested on felony charges in Nashville after reportedly tossing a chair from the rooftop of a bar

Morgan Wallen, a country music star, was arrested on felony charges in Nashville after reportedly hurling a chair from a rooftop bar, according to police.

Wallen, aged 30, is facing three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct following an incident at Chief's, a six-story restaurant bar owned by country artist Eric Church, in downtown Nashville. Metro Nashville Police Department stated in a social media update that Wallen allegedly threw a chair from the top floor of Chief's, with it landing close to two officers on Broadway.

His attorney, Worrick Robinson, confirmed the arrest and stated to CBS News that Wallen is cooperating with authorities.

Wallen's bond has been set at $15,250, and he is scheduled to appear in court on May 3. This arrest comes amidst his One Night At A Time Tour, which began on Friday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. He is slated to perform in Nashville from May 2 through May 4.

On the same day of his arrest, fellow country music artists celebrated their victories at the Country Music Television Awards in Austin, Texas. Although Wallen's music video for "Last

Night" was nominated for best male video of the year, the award went to Jelly Roll for his video "Need a Favor" instead.
